Quick to crochet with a large hook, then felt for a thick, warm hat.

Size:  Will fit most adult head sizes.  Exact finished size is controlled during felting and blocking.  Block your hat over a hat form, bowl, or ball that measures slightly larger than your head.

Yarn Requirements:
Approximately 360 yds (329 m) of a heavy, worsted weight yarn that felts easily.

Hats can also be made using 2 strands of yarn such as a dk wt wool held with a strand of mohair (360 yds (329 m) each)

This is enough to make the wide brim style, the other styles will require slightly less yardage.
