Sizes: Small, Medium & Large.
For head size up to 18.5" (20", 21") (47 (51, 53) cm)
Tie allows hat to be adjusted to fit a smaller head.
Yarn Requirements:
Use a worsted weight yarn that would normally knit to a gauge of 5 sts to 1". Hat is worked at a tighter gauge for extra firmness
165 (185, 210) yds (151 (169, 192) meters) of main color, plus a small amount of contrast for tie and flower center if desired.
Needles:
For hat, a 16" (40cm) circular needle and a set of double pointed needles in US size 4 (3.5mm), or size needed to obtain gauge.
For flower, a pair of US size 6 (4mm). For tie, a crochet hook size G (4.5mm).
Gauge: 21 sts = 4" (10cm) in stockinette
