Shaped shawl or scarf featuring a lace center panel and narrow feather & fan lace edging.  Knit from the outer edge to neck with attached, knitted cord top border.

Blocked Measurements:
Shawl:  16 (42cm) deep and 60 (152cm) along top edge.
Scarf:  9 (23cm) deep and 32 (81cm) along top.
Size will vary with yarn used and can easily be adjusted.

Needles:  40 (100cm) circular in US size 2 (2.5 or 2.75 mm), or size to obtain gauge.  You may switch to a short circular as the shawl gets smaller.

Blocked Gauge:  28 sts = 4 (10cm) in stockinette.

Yarn Requirements:  Choose either lace or fingering (sock) weight yarn.

Yardage required when knit to gauge given:
Shawl: 680 yards (623m); Scarf: 280 yards (256m).

Note: Working at a looser gauge will require more yardage and result in a larger finished size.
