Fiber Trends Whales & Sails Knitting Pattern CH5
Fun summer hats knit in worsted weight cotton at 4.5 sts to 1" (2.5cm).
Three sizes to fit children of all ages.

Sizes: Sm, Med and Lg. To fit head size to 18" (19½", 21½").
Yarn Requirements: Worsted weight yarn, 130 (155, 175) yds main color plus small amounts of contrast. (1 color for whales, 3 for sailboats).
A contrast background, as shown on whale hats, requires about 35 - 40 yds.
Needles: 16" (40 cm) circular and a set of double pointed needles in US size 7 (4.5 mm), or size needed to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 18 sts = 4" (10 cm) in stockinette stitch. |
