To fit:  Preemie (0-3, 6-9, 12-18) months.
Finished Chest Measurements:  16 (18, 20, 22) inches -- 41 (46, 51, 56) cm.

Needle sizes:
For 4-ply (baby wt):  US 2 & 3 (2.5 mm & 3.25 mm) straight needles, US 3 double points for collar.
For 8-ply (DK wt):  US 3 & 5 (3.25mm & 3.75mm) straight needles, US 5 double points for collar.

Gauge:
In 4-ply:  28 sts and 36 rows over stockinette stitch = 4 inches / 10cm.
In 8-ply:  22 sts and 30 rows over stockinette stitch = 4 inches / 10cm.
