"Fool the eye" horizontal symmetry allows this scarf to be knit from end to end in one piece. Particular attention is also given to the cast on, bind off, and treatment of edge stitches to achieve the look of a continuous chain edging all around.
Outer finished measurements: 62" by 12". Plan for 425 yards lace weight or light weight fingering yarn. Suggested knitting needle size is US 5 / 3.75mm. You'll also need a size G (4 mm) crochet hook for casting on. If you use the beads, you'll need 111 size 6/0 (4 mm diameter) glass seed beads (approx 10g) and a crochet hook that is small enough to insert into holes in the beads.
