There is a low $4.00 minimum order, but customers are encouraged to place larger orders in order to make packing and shipping more efficient for both the merchant and the customer.
In most cases, only one discount can be used per order. This includes the offer of free U.S. shipping for orders over $100.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and PayPal. We also accept money orders and personal checks, but we don't ship until personal checks have had time to clear.
Shipping for both domestic and international orders is by U.S. Postal Service or, occasionally, UPS Ground for the U.S. or Canada. The cost is calculated based on weight and location. Orders ship within 1-2 business days.
If our system over-calculates shipping charges, which often happens with orders for multiple items, customer cost will be manually adjusted downward when the order is processed and packed. You will not be overcharged.
Insurance is recommended for fragile items. Items will be packaged in a manner to prevent damage in shipment. Knit Bin is not liable for damage that may occur after the item leaves us.
All packages are shipped with delivery confirmation services. If you are concerned about non-delivery of a domestic package, please pay the additional amount for insurance.
Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying. Knit Bin ships promptly, and has no control over delays in customs.
Because of costs that Knit Bin can't recover, including payment fees and packaging expenses, orders that are cancelled will be refunded less 2-5% of the total. The amount will depend on the processing status and the payment method. Most orders are processed as soon as they are received, so expect the larger penalty. We apologize for this charge, and hope that you understand.
Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase only if we are contacted in advance, and if the product is returned in the same condition that it left us and in the original undamaged packaging. Shipping charges will not be refunded. There will be a 10% restocking fee.
Your personal information is used solely for processing your order, and will not be shared with anyone outside Knit Bin with the exception of Shopper Approved who handles our ratings. We hate spam, and will not expose you to identity theft. Your information is safe with us.
You will receive e-mails from us related to the status of your order only, but of course, you're also welcome to join our e-mail list. An occasional promotional email may be sent to previous customers.
For European Union customers, your contact information is needed to process your order, but you will be opted out of future communications by default unless you request otherwise.
