This beautiful and practical lace blanket is a perfect example of "moose lace", i.e. lace knitted in a large gauge in heavier yarn. The lace makes this blanket lighter in weight for its size. 

Allow 2400 yards of DK or light worsted weight yarn for 84" x 56" finished size. 3 stitches/inch over Center lace pattern stitch, size US 8 / 5 mm needles suggested. Charted and written stitch instructions included in pattern.
